Ways to obtain STI login tools

  1. A foreign country person (natural person, the head of a legal entity or a person authorized by the management body) who does not have a personal code in Lithuania or a taxpayer code provided by the STI, can obtain STI login tools:
  • a natural person after submitted a complete application of a foreign country citizen to provide means of connecting to the STI electronic systems at the STI service department*, sent by classic mail (when sending the application by post, it is necessary to attach a copy of identity document, certified by Notary public or certified by in accordance with other procedure laid down in legal acts) or to the STI e-mail address [email protected] signed with a qualified electronic signature;

After the submission of the application, the STI’s means of connection are provided in the chosen way, i.e. they are sent to the personal e-mail address specified in the application or to the address for receiving correspondence.

  • the head of a foreign legal entity or a person authorized by the management body, who has submitted a request for registration in the Tax Payers Register / deregistration from the Tax Payers Register of a foreign legal entity that registers in the STI Tax Payers Register for tax payment purposes and on whose behalf you want to connect to the STI electronic systems, form FR0227 (hereinafter - Application) upon arrival at the STI service department* or by sending it by classic mail;


The STI login means will be sent to the head of the foreign legal entity or to a person authorized by the management body specified in the application via the e-mail specified in the Application (if the e-mail address is indicated) and in accordance of the data held by STI, he does not use any other systems methods of connecting to the STI.

  1. a foreign country citizen (the head of a foreign legal entity or a person authorized by the management body) who has a taxpayer code issued by STI or a personal code issued in Lithuania can obtain STI login tools by submitting a free-form application for issuing STI login tools:
  • STI service department*;
  • sent by classic mail (when sending the application by post, it is necessary to attach a copy of identity document, certified by Notary public or certified by in accordance with other procedure laid down in legal acts);
  • after calling the Tax Information Center via phone +370 5 260 5060  or 1882 and specifying your personal e-mail address (callers are identified by one of the methods specified in the rules of Consultation and information provisions of the State Tax Inspectorate).

After the submission of the application, the STI’s means of connection are provided in the chosen way, i.e. they are sent to the personal e-mail address specified in the application or to the address for receiving correspondence.

* You can only arrive to the STI service division after registering an appointment in advance via internet.
